Salt Bae's Wristwatch by Patek Philippe

Salt Bae's Wristwatch by Patek Philippe

We continue our foray into famous Patek Philippe patrons with Salt Bae! Salt Bae is a restaurateur who went viral in 2017 for his cute way of sprinkling salt on meat. Five years later, he continues to ride the wave of stardom. He fittingly has a nice collection of Patek Philippe wristwatches; including the ref. 3700/13J, a yellow gold Nautilus with a black dial and diamond bezel.

Originally introduced in 1977 as the Patek Philippe Nautilus ref. 3700, this was Patek’s take on the very first luxury sports watch, the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak ref. 5402ST. The Nautilus might just have superseded the immense success of its predecessor. The 18K Yellow Gold edition with the diamond bezel and black dial, is rarely found in the market. We are fortunate to have a watch at our gallery very similar to the one owned by Salt Bae.

This watch can be viewed among others by Patek Philippe at our Manhattan gallery, APR57. If you like Salt Bae's style you will like our radio show. Tune into WOR 710 AM, every Sunday evening between 8pm-9pm.If you have anything you would like to sell or have appraised please contact us. We are the only free appraisal service in town and we would love to tell you more about your piece.
